Dr. Rattiner grew up in Brooklyn, NY.  He graduated Magna Cum Laude from CUNY Brooklyn College in 1987.  He earned his M.D. Cum Laude from the SUNY Downstate Health Science Center at Brooklyn in 1991, and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society in 1989.  He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at NYU Medical Center, Tisch Hospital, and Bellevue Hospital from 1991-94.  He completed his Cardiology Fellowship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center from 1995-98.  He moved to Long Island in 1995, and began private practice in 1998.  Dr. Rattiner is Board Certified in both Cardiology and Internal Medicine.
